WORKSHOPS: DRAWING IN THE AIR
In this two day/weekend class, Diane will help you capture an image of a person’s face using wire and some tracing techniques. You will then suspend the image in a wire box. Bring your own photos or images of a person or people; preferrably an 8 x 10. Students have the option of making a 2nd portrait, or going on to make a 3D female or male torso, approximately 1’ to 3’ high. Diane will assist each potential “wireist” by helping you to see the outline of a body using wire. Diane calls it “drawing in the air.” Bring images of figures.
